It’s the Summer of Soccer, and Pierce Transit is kicking it off with special event service. The Fan Zone Express provides free rides to our local Fan Zone hosted by the Puyallup Tribe of Indians. In this episode of South Sound Connected, we’ll hear from some fans using the service, and from Pierce Transit staff who worked for months on coordination, planning and logistics. Pierce Transit is updating our News and Updates subscriber lists to improve the way we send updates and keep you informed.

-If you would like to keep receiving bulletins and information or update which topics you receive information about, or delete your account, visit piercetransit.org/stay-connected and enter your mobile phone number or email and select "subscriber preferences".
-If you take no action, your account will be deleted at the beginning of July.

You will still be able to view real-time detours and route alerts on Transit app, Google Maps and Apple maps. You can also get that same information by calling Customer Service at 253.581.8000.

Let's hear it for Kathy, our May Driver of the Month! Kathy started her career at Pierce Transit in 1994 and has 24 years of accident-free driving on record.

She recently received this compliment from a customer: “My driver this morning was so fantastic! I’ve had her a number of times, and she’s always so friendly and nice to everyone. She always remembers me and asks about my family. She should get major kudos and recognition. She made my day!”
