We were thrilled to celebrate the groundbreaking of Tall Tales Ranch alongside so many of our supporters, donors, and board members. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us to mark this exciting milestone.

We are especially grateful to our Builder Captains, Shea Homes Colorado, Fiore & Sons, Inc., and Waner Construction Company, Inc., whose partnership, expertise, and commitment are helping bring this vision to life.

P.S. A special thank you to Fiore & Sons for going above and beyond to prepare the active construction site for the groundbreaking and for jumping in to help with setup on the day of the event. We truly appreciate everything you did to help make the celebration possible!

🍕 Make plans to eat pizza for a good cause this Tuesday! On September 1, we’re teaming up with Sexy Pizza’s Jefferson Park location for an all-day fundraiser benefiting HomeAid Colorado.

Whether you’re grabbing lunch with coworkers, picking up dinner, or dining in, a portion of the day’s proceeds will support HomeAid and our work building and renovating spaces for nonprofits serving people across Colorado.

Earlier this week, we celebrated a huge milestone as Tall Tales Ranch officially broke ground, and we were honored to have it featured on CBS Colorado's Michael's Mile. Michael Spencer shares the story of Ross, Pat, and Susan Mooney, the inspiration behind and founders of Tall Tales Ranch, and highlights the important role HomeAid Colorado is playing as a partner in making this project possible.

This project has been a long time in the making, and while there is still a ways to go, this is an exciting step toward creating a place that adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities will one day be proud to call home.

On Wednesday, the City of Loan Tree broke ground on a new community catering to adults with disabilities called Tall Tales Ranch. In Michael's Mile, the family behind the project shared their vision and inspiration.
