Planning a bonfire? Make sure you get your permit in time and celebrate safely.

In-person permit assistance will be available at Lakewood Fire Headquarters (733 Cedar Bridge Ave)
🗓 Monday, April 27 – Friday, May 1
⏰ 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Permits are required for all bonfires. Our team, along with the Ocean County Fire Marshal’s Office, is here to help make the process easy and ensure a safe and enjoyable Lag Ba’Omer for everyone.

INCIDENT UPDATE: Last night, The Lakewood Fire Department responded to a brush fire off the Garden State Parkway that consumed approximately 3/4 of an acre. The cause is currently under investigation by the New Jersey State Forest Fire Service. Stay vigilant, if you see smoke, call 9-1-1 immediately.
