Rescue & Extrication: Own and operate the primary rescue and extrication unit for Lakewood Township utilizing a Smeal Freightliner outfitted with three sets of Hurst Tools (Spreaders and cutters), three sets of Rams, plasma cutter, air bag capabilities and lighting. This vehicle is equipped with the tools for rescue operations, motor vehicle collision extrication, industrial extrication, and mass casualty incidents. Fire Rehab.

This afternoon, at the request of Ocean County EMS Coordinators, crews from Lakewood First Aid deployed to Stafford Township to assist with town-wide EMS coverage due to a sudden influx of calls for service in their area, Ambulance 25-24 was stationed out of the Stafford Township EMS building and provided coverage for the community.

We’re proud to support our neighboring towns and work collaboratively to ensure continuous emergency medical coverage when it’s needed most. Volunteer today 🔗 in bio!
