🔎 Got a signature request postcard in the mail? Here’s why!

Some Jeffco voters may receive a postcard like this one asking for an updated signature. When you vote by mail or drop box, election workers compare the signature on your ballot envelope with signatures we have on file. Having more recent signatures gives election workers additional examples to compare, especially for newer Colorado voters.

Responding is optional and will not affect your voter registration or eligibility to vote. If you’d like to provide an updated signature, follow the instructions on the back of your postcard. Once you’re done, you can recycle the postcard—no need to send it back! ♻️

UPDATE: All lanes of Wadsworth have been reopened. One person was injured and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A total for four vehicles were involved. This is being investigated as a road rage incident. Two people have been arrested so far for their involvement in this crash.

TRAFFIC ALERT

Lakewood Police are currently investigating a large crash in the southbound lane of Wadsworth from Ohio to Kentucky. All lanes of Wadsworth southbound in that area are currently shut down while the investigation takes place. Please use alternate routes.
