Due to the windy conditions the Kearny County Landfill will not be taking garbage today. We will be taking tree banches concrete tires and metal.

We are now open to the public again starting g Tuesday, April 7th. Just please use the guidelines set forth by KDHE In social distancing.

With winds over 20mph we will not be accepting loose trash today. We will still accept tree limbs, metal, cement, recyclables, and tires. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

In celebration of Earth day we were happy to have some special visitors this morning. It was great to have some of the Lakin Grade School students come out and learn a little bit about what we do. We enjoyed having them.
