US 160 HWY will be reduced to one lane between M HWY and Mindenmines, due to damaged asphalt. MODOT will be working in the area throughout the night and tomorrow. This is expected to last around 24 hours so they can replace the damaged area.

Please use caution when driving through this area.

Maple: College to Ball Field Road.
Ball Field Road.
Denton: Maple to K Hwy.
Main: Maple to North end.
College: Yale to Maple.
Yale: Main to College.
South Street: Main to West end.
We ask that all vehicles, poly carts, or anything else that would be in the way or damaged be moved away from the streets. Thank You

– Drivers can expect traffic delays when I-49 is reduced to one lane in each direction and drivers are shifted head-to-head in the northbound lanes between 30th Road and Missouri Route 126 (mile markers 70-74) south of beginning the week of May 31.

Traffic will be in this configuration for up to four months.
Contractor crews will begin work to replace the southbound I-49 bridge over North Fork Spring. Construction of the crossover lanes will begin the week of May 17. Traffic will be shifted to head-to-head configuration the week of May 31.
Traffic Impacts:
• Northbound and southbound I-49 left lane closures during installation of the crossover lanes the week of May 17
• I-49 traffic shifted head-to-head in the northbound lanes between 30th Road and Missouri Route 126 (mile markers 70-74) south of Lamar week of May 31
• Expect delays during high traffic volume times
• Only one lane open in each direction
• Speed limit reduced to 60 mph through the work zone
• Drivers are to consider alternate routes during the project

This bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.

Weather and/or construction delays could alter the work schedule.

• Completion date: December 1, 2021 (Contractor plans to be completed by September)
• Estimated total cost: $1.7 million
