from time to time the Punishers lose a member from his home chapter to the 31st chapter. The 31st chapter was originally formed when there were only 30 chapters making up the Punishers family. The 31st was set up as a chapter for those Punishers who died while still part of the Punishers family. Today a member of the Arkansas 7th Sons Chapter was involved in an accident while enroute to a memorial service and moved on to the 31st chapter. The entire worldwide Punishers family is saddened by this loss. The Guardian eyes will remain covered as a sign of mourning and respect for the loss of this member for a period of 10 days except for his home chapter which will continue for 30 days.

with the virus ongoing at this time most (if not all) Punisher events have been cancelled until things get settled down. Hopefully the countries health community will get a handle on things and some idea of normalcy will return. stay safe and maintain your distance from others.

☝️In case you wondered about this profile pic, the Punishers skull, known as The Guardian, is displayed in mourning when we induct a member into the 31st chapter. When we were growing as a club several years ago, we lost our first member when we were 30 chapters strong. At that time, we created the 31st chapter, and this chapter has the membership of those club members who have fallen. Some were taken by cancer, some by careless drivers, but all leave behind a legacy. Worldwide, as Punisher brothers, we cover the eyes of The Guardian on our cut, and change this profile picture to let the online world, who cannot see our cut, that we are in mourning and standing in honor of our brother who has fallen. there are currently 7 members which includes 1 in Florida right now. Another has been elected to the lifetime position.

the guardian is the representative symbol for the Punishers club worldwide. at the time of the first death there were only 30 chapters so the 31st became populated with those who had passed on whether from natural causes or accidents. the eyes are covered for for 10 days unless he is a member of your chapter in which case the cover lasts 30 days as a sigh of respect.
