Barton County Memorial Park

Barton County Memorial Park In early 2020 work began on the Barton County Memorial Park, on the grounds of the old Barton County Memorial Hospital.

I know I told a lot of people at the Memorial Day ceremony that we would be installing the First Responder Memorial last week. But Mother Nature is not done with SWMO. Hopefully this week we can get some drier weather.

We would like to thank everybody that came out yesterday for this special occasion. I tell people this is one of the reasons why we created the Memorial Park; to honor and remember those who sacrificed so much.

We would like to thank Candi Carroll and Tommy Morris as well as Rae Manka for their donations to the Memorial Park

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ

Sometime in June they are coming to engrave veteran pavers and bricks onsite. The names below requested that a blank space be added so when they retire it could be engraved.

Example, Russell Rawlings recently retired and he wants his end date added.

Obviously, some of the names below are still alive so nothing will be added to their paver at this time.

If your name is below or you bought a paver for that person and they retired or passed away please contact me. Even if I have already talked to you.
