Congratulations!!! Mrs. Berg-Tossoun was selected to represent the state of Montana this summer at the Montana booth at the Great American Fair in Washington DC for the America 250 Celebration!! She will actually get to be there during the 2nd wave of the event for the 4th of July! So cool.

HS track athletes! From Coach Day Rider: Next week, I am planning on being in Lambert on Wednesday and Thursday morning to start inventorying the small track equipment shed. If any Lambert track kids want to drop off their uniforms and warm-ups then they can. If not, they will need to bring them with them to the celebration on July 2nd. Richey kids can bring theirs to the school anytime between now and then. I will be gone from June 21st - 27th.

Also, he has left a track work out from him and from Coach Diede. Copies are in the Student Lounge at Lambert.

Good luck to Fusion Football players, Quaid Marshall, Curtis Mullin, Beau Mullin, who will be playing on the Red Team in the 6 man football All-Star Game at Custer on Friday (6/5) night with a 7 pm kick-off. Shawn Lien gets to coach his guys one more time, as he is also coaching the Red Team that evening.

Here's some additional information on the game:
Lincoln's Payton Peterson will serve as head coach of the Red Team and will be assisted by Shawn Lien of Richey-Lambert and Brandon Gondeiro of Highwood.

The Blue Team will be led by head coach Jim Vinson of Chester-Joplin-Inverness, and he'll be assisted by Tom Tranmer of Power-Dutton-Brady, Brett Scott of Absarokee and Cole Jelinek of Denton-Geyser-Stanford-Geraldine.

The Red Team won the 2025 game by a score of 60-51.

This just in...a press release from the Montana Coaches' Association:

MCA is pleased to announce that the Joe Day Rider, R&L Fusion Head Track Coach, has been selected, by a vote of member coaches, as “Coach of the Year” for the Class C Girls 2026 Track and Field season. He along with the other Montana spring sports COYs will be honored at the 2026 MCA Awards Ceremony, at 11:30 on July 30th at CMR High in Great Falls.

Brynne Hill: Long Jump - 16' 11.65 (2nd), Triple Jump - 36' 3.5" (1st)
Jolee Klempel: 100 M - 12.48 (1st), 100 M Hurdles - 14.81 (1st), Shotput - 36'4" (1st), Long Jump - 18' 8.75" (1st and a new Class C record), Triple Jump - 36' 3" (2nd)
