🎉2025 was a landmark year for the library!

🔨With tremendous support from the city and our donors—and tremendous effort from volunteers—we undertook major renovations and repairs of our historic building, including lead-remediation, interior and exterior painting, new flooring and lighting, and new murals in the children’s reading room.

🏦The project took four months, during which time City Hall graciously hosted a pop-up library and the Justice Center provided space for other programming. The results speak for themselves, and we invite you to stop by soon to take a tour!

📜We also secured a grant from the New Jersey State Library Association to develop programming highlighting local Revolutionary War history, working in partnership with other community institutions. The programming will unfold between this November and May 2026.

🎊Our 100th anniversary as a public library is here! Special commemorative library cards are available to all patrons. Stay tuned for special events.

🎁The support of our community remains indispensable to our plans and aspirations. As we near the end of the tax year, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the library!
