It's not the most expensive one. It's not the one with the most features.

A properly installed and correctly used car seat helps keep your child safe on the road. If you're not sure your seat is the right fit, we're here to help!

Schedule a free car seat check with Safe Seats | Safe Kids at www.commed.us or call 270-842-4281.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently issued a recall on Build-A-Bear Workshop Heartwarming Hugs Bears. The bear has a zipper slider on the side pouch that can detach and release ceramic beads, posing a risk of serious injury or death from choking hazard to children.

The recalled bears were sold in Build-A-Bear Workshop stores and online at www.buildabear.com from January 2026 through March 2026 for about $48.

The recall involves the Heartwarming Hugs weighted plush bear with model number 034464. It has a side pouch containing a heart filled with 2.5 pounds of ceramic beads, which can be heated or cooled for comfort, and the pouch is secured with a zipper.

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the recalled Heartwarming Hugs Bear and return it to a local Build-A-Bear Workshop store to receive a refund in the form of original payment or a store gift card.

Heatstroke can happen quickly – silently – and can be deadly. A parked car can heat up fast, even on mild days. Never leave a child alone in a vehicle, not even for a minute. Look before you lock.
