LGBTQ+ Caucus of the Lancaster County Democrats

The LGBTQ+ Caucus is an official caucus of the Lancaster County Democratic Committee of Pennsylvania.

The Lancaster County Democratic Committee LGBTQ+ Caucus is dedicated to eliminating discrimination, violence, and injustice any kind of against le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender, and q***r people through activism and legislative advocacy. Our goal is to do our part locally to create a county, a commonwealth, a nation, and a world where all human beings are guaranteed freedom, equity, safety and

opportunity. We will achieve this by helping to elect openly LGBTQ+ individuals and strong LGBTQ+ allies to district, county, and state offices, by engaging directly on every level (local, state and national) and by serving as a resource to help educate our membership and the general public on LGBTQ+ issues.

This past June, Damon and Nathan were both invited to separate Pride Receptions. Damon had the amazing chance to attend the White House’s Pride reception and Nathan to the Governors Pride Reception. Both had an amazing time and got to speak with so many different representatives and high ranking officials. We look forward to next year!

Our Chair and Vice Chair, Damon and Nathan got to meet the President, press secretary, Sen. Fetterman, and Dr Jill Biden at an event in Harrisburg. It was truly special to be able to talk with each one about re-electing Joe!
