Today our members of State Committee gathered for the PA Democratic Party’s Winter State Committee Meeting and endorsement convention just outside Harrisburg—and though it was freezing, it was an energizing day! We heard from Rep. Madeleine Dean about the urgency of supporting candidates this year as we work to flip the House of Representatives. We were also moved by a powerful poem from Southeast Caucus Treasurer Sharon Booker in honor of Black History Month.

We unanimously passed a resolution condemning the weaponization of ICE, and we proudly voted to endorse Josh Shapiro and Austin Davis for governor and lieutenant governor.

We’re fired up and looking ahead to this election season! The Lancaster County Democratic Committee will hold its endorsement convention later this month, and we’re ready to get to work! Governor Shapiro made it clear: he wants to see Lancaster turn blue!💪🗳️💙

Tonight's dinner included a welcome from Lancaster County Democratic Committee Chair Tom O'Brien and U.S. Senator Chris C***s from Delaware. We are ready to do put in the work to get Democrats elected up and down the ballot this November! 🥳🗳🇺🇸

Lancaster County members of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party State Committee traveled to Seven Springs Resort in Champion, PA this weekend for our summer meeting. We heard from our statewide judicial candidates, engaged with key caucuses, passed important resolutions, and voted on updates to our bylaws. With so much at stake this November, we're fired up and ready to work hard for candidates at every level of the ballot!

In October of 2022, Senator Cory Booker was a guest speaker at the PA Democratic Party State Committee meeting. He spoke to a ballroom full of people who were eating lunch, and well, they weren't really listening. Instead of giving up, he stood up on a chair, and he kept delivering his message of hope and persistence to whomever would listen!

His accomplishment over the past 24+ hours is extremely inspiring, and we know it will lead to many positive actions in the days and weeks to come. If he can stand on a chair, if he can speak for 24 hours straight, ask yourself: what can you do?
