🚨📡 PUBLIC NOTICE: Radio Coverage Testing Begins July 24 📡🚨

👷‍♂️ July 24–31, 2026, Lancaster County Emergency Services will be conducting public safety radio coverage testing throughout the county as part of the implementation of our new emergency communications system.

🚙 During the testing period, you may see county and contractor vehicles traveling on public roads, in neighborhoods, off-road areas, and, when necessary, on private property to evaluate radio coverage. A representative from the Lancaster County Department of Emergency Services will accompany testing personnel at all times.

🚫 Do you have a strict no-access area on your property? Please call the Department of Emergency Services at 804-436-3553 before July 24 so those locations can be avoided.

✅ Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work to strengthen emergency communications and improve the safety of our community and first responders.

This Memorial Day, take the time to remember all the heros who sacrificed their lives for us so that we can live free in the land that we love.

In the fields of Sharpsburg, to forests of Belleau Wood, the beaches of Normandy, the jungles of Vietnam, and so many more, we offer our utmost and sincere thank you to every American soldier who gave everything for us.
