CK9 Roscoe attended the skills portion of ITLS training today and definitely made an impression! During the mock trauma scenarios, Roscoe demonstrated how a Crisis Response K9 can support first responders after stressful calls and critical incidents. He may have gotten a little too involved and “rescued” a severed leg during one scenario, but thankfully the patient was all smiles 😊

These hands-on training events are a great opportunity to highlight the important role therapy and crisis response dogs play in supporting the mental wellness of EMS, fire, law enforcement, and healthcare personnel after difficult situations. We think it was a very successful day for both Roscoe and the ED team from HVCH, along with the area EMS providers! 🐾🚑

I’m making my rounds today at Hocking Valley Community Hospital—spreading smiles, comfort, and a whole lot of Nurses Week cheer! 🐶👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

I’ve got a special connection to nursing… my human is a nurse, so I really get how amazing (and busy!) this job is—which is also why I get to come make visits at the hospital! I also understand the importance of snacks and coffee ☕😉

From wagging my tail to sharing some puppy love, I’m here to say THANK YOU to all the incredible nurses who show up every day with compassion, strength, and heart. 💪❤️

Even our favorite Crisis K9 Therapy pup is feeling the Force today 💚 Whether you’re on the light side or just here for the cuddles, this good boy is ready to bring calm, comfort, and maybe a few tail wags to your galaxy.

🐾🎉 Happy National Pet Day! 🎉🐾

Today is all about celebrating the pets who make our lives happier, louder, and way more entertaining 😂❤️

Fun fact: National Pet Day (April 11) isn’t just about loving on our own pets—it also recognizes how much joy animals bring into our lives and shines a light on pets everywhere 🐶🐱

Roscoe is living his best life with his built-in squad 🐾

💙🐕‍🦺 Brother Jackson (7) – a fun-loving black lab mix
💖👧🏻 Human sister CJ (5) – who he adores and is always right by her side

Together, they bring the chaos, the cuddles, and a whole lot of personality to the house 😆

Whether it’s wagging tails at the door, stealing your spot on the couch, or just being your shadow all day—pets have a way of making everything better ❤️

Roscoe had a busy day spreading smiles and happiness 😊🐾🚁🏥🦮

He started things off by watching a helicopter 🚁 and ambulance 🚑(very important puppy business). And of course visiting the EMS crew after they were done working. Then made some special visits to Hocking County 911 Dispatch and Logan PD. Then stoped by HTFD for a visit 🚑🚒!

Safe to say—there were plenty of human smiles and nonstop tail wags all around today💙🐶
