Wearing purple in support of Overdose Awareness Day. Setting up for the Overdose awareness event at the bandstand last week, a question was posed, "How much longer are we going to be doing this?" The answer from one of our peer recovery specialists who has been on the recovery journey - she responded, "As long as it takes!"
Grateful for law enforcement, the courts, the agencies, community leaders, families and individuals who are committed to end overdose in Fairfield County. 💜

The Fairfield County ADAMH Board along with the Fairfield County Health Department and Project F.O.R.T partnered together to present the Overdose Awareness Day Event in Lancaster. More than 20 agencies showed up to share resources, services and support as we remembered the 29 individuals lost to overdose in 2025 and shared messages of hope and recovery throughout the evening. The Fairfield County ADAMH Board members are passionate about the mission of the ADAMH Board and it is evidenced through board members like Cindy Lyttle. Thank you for your service to the residents of Fairfield County!

Meet Cindy Lyttle.💙 Cindy serves on the Fairfield County ADAMH Board, where she helps support efforts to expand access to mental health and addiction services throughout our community. The ADAMH Board partners with local agencies to provide resources such as counseling, crisis intervention, prevention programs and recovery services for individuals and families.

For Cindy, this work has a personal connection. Her uncle, Dan Davis, founded what was then the Fairfield County Board of Alcoholism in 1973, creating local pathways to recovery for those in need.

Through her service, Cindy continues a family legacy of supporting the health and well-being of Fairfield County residents.
