Had a GREAT time today with the 5th & 6th grade DARE students from Grant County today! Many people to thank.....Sheriff Dreck man for his support of the program, Deputy Mary McQuillan & Deputy Adam Day for their hard work in gathering supplies. We have several sponsors as well. I don't want to miss any so, I will post them tomorrow.....for now....if you helped...we thank you! To the parents who brought their students out on a Sunday afternoon....Mother's Day none the less....we appreciate you!

Deputy Gallagher is telling the students at the Cuba City D.A.R.E. graduation about the importance of having courage like a Lion when facing difficult decisions. Daren is the mascot for the D.A.R.E. program and is oftentimes used by D.A.R.E. officers to illustrate the importance of having courage.

OK, the date is out for our DARE Dance!!! May 11 in Lancaster. It will be in the afternoon that day! Please, get the word out. This event is for the 5th and 6th grade students this year from all of our DARE participating schools in Grant County! Come and join in the fun!!!!!

Alrighty!!!! Those of you who have already liked this page, get the word out to others! Share! Share! Share! We are in the planning stages for our FIRST D.A.R.E. Dance! Yes.....get ready, in May, we are planning for a FREE dance for our 5th and 6th graders. A place to come and have fun, dance and party, in a place where everyone's cool (although you may see some strange dancing from the DARE Officers) and we encourage making SAFE, HEALTHY, AND RESPONSIBLE choices! We're very excited to get this out there. This is for all of the 5th and 6 grade students from Grant County. Dig out those DARE graduations shirts from last year and get ready to party!
