The Susquehanna Valley EMS family has lost one of its own this morning. Vice-Chairman Donald Alleman started his next journey in life at 12:10 am this morning. His one true love was spending time with his partner in life Deb. Don had over fifty years of service in EMS and the fire service serving the residents of Mount Joy Borough. Don was committed to making sure that the residents of Mount Joy Borough had the very best EMS coverage possible. He enjoyed playing golf and three-card poker. He had a laugh that would fill the whole room. Don will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Susquehanna Valley EMS would like to give a special thanks to the Rheems Fire Department and Chief Charles Stanford for working with and providing a training opportunity to the Recruits of the Susquehanna Valley EMS Training Institute, EMT Class 2021-1. On Thursday, May 27th, the recruits were given an introduction to the tools and techniques used in vehicle rescue by the members of Rheems Fire Department. Each recruit had the opportunity to get hands-on experience with the tools. All had an enjoyable educational experience. Thank you Chief Stanford and the members of Rheems Fire Department for your generosity and a great experience.

When approaching a roadside incident SLOW DOWN and MOVE OVER!

This video is just a small snapshot of what we will share in the coming weeks and beyond to educate the motoring public about the dangers responders face every time we respond to an emergency that's occurred along a roadway.

Thank you to the over 300 responders, who came together from across Pennsylvania, to help put this together.
