Our annual picnic will be next week on Thursday, June 18. It will be held here at our library starting at 6:30.
The members of the executive board will be providing the hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, and fixings as well as the table service and bottles of water.
You just need to bring a covered dish or dessert.
We really need you to let us know if you are coming. The board members need to know how much to buy so we have enough of everything.

The Fairfield County Genealogical Society will be hosting our 12th annual Craft Show on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 9-3 pm at the Lancaster Campground Activity Building. We would love to have you join us.
The fee is $25 for a 10’ X 10’ outdoor space or $30 for an 8 X 10 indoor space. The fee is nonrefundable.
If you are interested, please PM me with your e-mail address and I will send you an application and more information. Payment can only be made to FCC-OGS.
Our group will be selling luncheon foods. We will be having a bake sale indoors

Do any of you like to play Euchre? The Genealogy Library located at 503 Lenwood Dr. (Corner of Lenwood and W. Mulberry St.) is hosting a Euchre party next Thursday, June 11. We start playing at 2:00. it cost you $5 to play. The person with the high score wins $10 and low score wins $5. No one takes this overly serious and no one is "that" good. We just have a good time. Let me know if you'd like to join us. It's always a fun afternoon.

Tomorrow is the day for our Panera Bread Fundraiser.
You need to go to the Panera Bread located on Ety Rd. Between 4 PM and 8 PM
You can eat in or carry out. Just show this flyer to them and we will get 25% of your total!

The Fairfield County Genealogy Society’s May meeting will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Refreshments begin at 6:30 PM. It will be followed by our business meeting and then our program. Bring in an old baby - childhood picture of yourself. We'll try to figure out who is who. Members and non-members are welcome. Come and bring a friend.

If you have never had a tour of the Pickaway County Historical and Genealogical Library because of conflicting hours when it’s open, your work hours or other reasons, here’s your chance to see what you’ve missed. They will be open at 7 p.m. on Monday and will give a tour to the first 30 people who come by.
You may think they're a small library of family history books in one room but nothing could be further from the truth. They have ten rooms with Probate Court records, tax records, sheriff’s records, newspapers, photographs, maps, Common Pleas case files, Civil war battles, CDs and DVDs, Surveys, surname files, reference files, books for sale and much more.
They hope to see you Monday evening!
