Art Therapy workshop with Kathleen Sullivan
Dreams and art images can offer profound guidance. Whatever your aspirational focus, this workshop will use a body tracing technique prompted by the questions: What is my dream? What are my beliefs? What are my aspirations? Referencing Jungian psychology, participants will delve into the richness of alchemical and archetypal symbols to unlock the meaning of the dream riddle. Creating in a safe and supportive studio setting, discover and explore how honoring your dream aspiration through art making practices can enrich the personal narrative and manifest positive intentions. No experience, artistic training, or skill is necessary. Workshop is June 4th at 6:30pm. Call the library to see if there is still space open 608.723.7304.

Silent Book Club TONIGHT!
Meet us at the fireplace every first Tuesday of the month from 6:00-7:30 PM. Whether you’re looking to tackle your "to-read" pile or just want some peaceful company, this is the perfect space to unwind. There are no assigned books and no mandatory discussions—just a shared appreciation for a good story.

Here's the schedule: The Quiet Hour (60 mins): We settle in, silence our phones, and enjoy an hour of dedicated, uninterrupted reading time. The Social Half-Hour (30 mins): Stick around to chat about what you’re reading, swap recommendations, or simply head out if you’ve had your fill of quiet.

Artist Talk & Reception: Kathleen Sullivan
"A ‘later in life’ return to school to earn a Master's degree in Art Therapy fulfilled a life-long dream of combining art making, Jungian Analytical Psychology, and psychoeducation; all three areas of keen interest to me throughout my life. I have kept dream journals for 35 years and I use the art making process to discover and explore the hidden meaning of my dreams. This series of images, the associated presentation and workshop offer an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of our dreams and to ‘bring into the light’ the shadow aspects within the Self."
