Meet Great People Over Dinner and Learn About How You Can Support More Affordable Housing for Lancaster County.

Housing shapes who can stay in Lancaster County, who can afford to move here, and whether future generations can continue to build their lives here.

Local decisions around zoning and housing affect affordability, neighborhood change, development patterns, and access to opportunity, yet many residents never learn how those decisions are made or how to participate in them.

Join the Coalition for Sustainable Housing for Housing Advocacy 101, a three-part dinner and conversation series focused on helping community members better understand housing challenges, local decision-making, and practical ways to engage in local conversations about the future of Lancaster County.

Community partnerships and volunteerism continue to make a lasting impact across Tenfold’s mission.

In April alone, 27 dedicated volunteers contributed 218 hours of service throughout Lancaster County—representing nearly $4,800 in donated time, talent, and compassion supporting individuals and families in our community.

From sorting donations and laundering clothing, blankets, and sleeping bags for reuse, to assisting with file management and serving on our Board of Directors, every effort helped strengthen the resources and support available to those who need it most.

A special thank you to Isaac Garrett of Boy Scouts of America Troop #56 in the Susquehanna District for leading an incredible Eagle Scout project benefiting Tenfold’s Donation Center. Alongside fellow scouts and adult volunteers, Isaac coordinated donated materials and built five new shelving units that greatly improved the organization and storage of donations that directly support Tenfold clients and programs.

Acts of service like these remind us that lasting impact happens when a community comes together with compassion, generosity, and purpose. We are deeply grateful for every volunteer and community partner helping create pathways toward stability, dignity, and hope.

How many empty bedrooms are there in Lancaster County? How many people could we house if we could adopt new mindsets about shared housing that also pays homeowners? Tenfold was thrilled to host Tim Burchett with the Lancaster County Office of Aging to spread the word about two programs that can serve a wide range of people, from college kids who need an affordable place to live to seniors.

Because of community partners like Pizzeria Luca, local veterans enrolled in the Lancaster Veterans Court Program are receiving the support, encouragement, and resources they need to move forward with stability and hope.

We are incredibly grateful to Pizzeria Luca for selecting Veterans Court Community Partnership as its monthly beneficiary during March. Their generosity directly supports the collaborative work of Tenfold and Veterans Court Community Partnership as we walk alongside veterans on their journey toward healing, growth, and long-term success.

A heartfelt thank you to American Gold Star Mothers for their generous donation of $1,000 in Giant gift cards and 20 beautifully handmade afghans for the veterans residing at Tenfold’s Transitional Living Center (TLC).

We are especially grateful to Barb Bennard (pictured left) and several members who personally visited the TLC to distribute the gift cards and blankets, offering comfort, encouragement, and kindness to the veterans present that day. Their thoughtful outreach beautifully reflects the power of community partnership and support for those who have served our country.
