Lancaster Historical Society flea market Tomorrow!

The Chamber is happy to help spread the word that the Lancaster Historical Society’s 58th Annual Flea Market returns tomorrow, Sunday, August 30!

Spend the day browsing local treasures, visiting the Bargain Barn, grabbing a hot dog or fresh popcorn from the volunteer-run snack bar, and exploring a little local history while you’re there.

Visitors can also enjoy a free guided tour of the Wilder-Holton House, the oldest two-story home in Coös County. After our recent Chamber open house, we can definitely say there is a lot to see!

Sunday, August 30
Flea Market opens around 7:00 AM and typically winds down between 2:00–3:00 PM

Interested in selling? Vendor spaces are available for $20 per 20’ x 20’ space, first come, first choice. No advance online payment is required.

Funds raised help support the restoration and maintenance of the museum building and historic collection.

5 weekly sessions for a Parent Child Workshop at Whitefield Public Library 📚

Are you the caregiver of a child between the ages of 1-4? Join us at Whitefield Public Library, A Family Place Library, for Parent-Child Workshop. Parent Child Workshop is a free five-week program for toddlers and their parents/caregivers. This fun, informal, play-based program provides a rich environment of toys, books and art activities. Families have the opportunity to spend time together, make new friends, and talk one-on-one with a different community resource professional each week. Each weekly session transforms the library space into an informal early childhood center filled with developmental toys, books, and art activities, and each week will have a guest community resource professional. Local experts in the fields of child development, speech and hearing, nutrition, and music and movement attend the sessions to chat informally and answer questions.

Mondays, September 28th, October 5th, 19th, 26th, & November 2nd

1-5 years and their caregivers
