Be cautious if you have dead standing White ash on your property. They won't stand forever. Best to remove them sooner rather than later if at all possible. Evaluate if the tree falls, for example, 100 feet in any direction, if it poses a risk to anyone or anything of value to you.

If you are unsure of the condition of the tree, a Certified Arborist can point out to you signs of woodpeckers removing bark to access the Emerald Ash borer larvae, and broken/missing terminal shoots that indicate weakening wood strength, which eventually leads to partial or complete tree failure.
