Just another theoretical scenario we came up with. Has any of our fire service friends ever been to a M/A Fire(s) that was so poorly run from command, communication, proffessionalism, tactics, or even a general basic game plan, that it has eaten you alive for “weeks”. And more so, is there a difinitive higher “authority” in your state, that can intervene to protect the lives and property of which we are sworn to protect? Is it simply only up to the membership of said dept to hold them accountable? Is there a “no faith” reporting for outside their dept at the county/state level (or whatever your area operates on?) Asking theorectically for discussion. If this situation arose somehow in the volunteer relm, where there seems to be no checks and balances over dept level, IS there a reliable go-to, to file a complaint?
