Last week, the Youth Team also was out and about! 🌟

The Youth Team got the chance to kick off a Resume Building Workshop with the senior class at Lancaster County Career and Technology Center - Brownstown. Students learned how to market their skills and experiences as they prepare for careers in painting, flooring installation, tile work, and other finishing trades.

This is just the beginning! The Youth Team will continue to meet with the class through October 2nd to provide career guidance, resume support, and workforce preparation tools that will help them transition from the classroom to the workplace.

We're proud to support the next generation of skilled trade professionals.

Last week amongst the busy week for PA CareerLink® Awareness Day, the Business Services Team was out and about the community working with some local community partners. 🚶‍♂️ 🚶‍♂️ Here is the recap:

🌟 First stop was the Lititz Public Library! The Lititz Public Library invited our team to spend time with clients and staff for an opportunity to sit down, share information, and have meaningful conversation about employment opportunities available to youth throughout Lancaster County! Lititz Public Library provides a welcoming space where young people can learn, connect, and grow. It was inspiring to meet with participants, discuss ways we can help them better understand the opportunities available right here in our community. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with organizations such as these and look forward to continuing the conversation and creating new opportunities to connect young people with the resources, support, and career pathways that can help them succeed.

🌟 Next stop was at Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital. The Business Services Team had the opportunity to learn more about the services offered in the hospital setting and explore the many career opportunities available for individuals interested in growing within the healthcare field. From clinical positions to support services, Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital offers a wide range of pathways for those looking to make a difference in the lives of others. We are excited about this partnership and can't wait to see how we can work together to strengtehn Lancaster County's workforce.

🌟 The final destination of the week was visiting the team at ARS of Lancaster. Our Business Services Team was invited to participate in the hiring and community resource event that was held. It is always a great time getting the chance to meet with job seekers and community members to learn more about the important rehabilitation, recovery, and support services ARS provides throughout our community. This event allowed attendees to connect directly with staff, explore career opportunities, and gain a deeper understanding of the organizations mission and impact. ARS of Lancaster is committed to helping individuals achieve lasting recovery while building a strong and compassionate team dedicated to supporting those they serve. We are continuously inspired by the passion of their staff and their commitment to making a difference in the lives of others every day.

We can't wait to see where the Business Services Team ends up this week! Make sure to show some love to these wonderful community organizations and check out the services they provide.
