Reminder you only have a week and half (March 10) to get that 2023 Tree Sale order form into the Conservation District. What a great way to support local conservation education while putting some green on the ground in the county. It's that time of year again. The Conservation District's annual tree seedling and plant sale is currently taking orders for the 2023 Tree Sale. Order forms for this year sale can be found on the District's website, www.lancasterconservation.org Deadline to place your order is March 10th so check out the species being offered this year and get your order in for your spring planting projects.

It's that time of year again for the annual Lancaster County Conservation District Tree Seedling Sale. If you are interested in bare root or containerized trees/shrubs, perennials species, groundcover, or even fruit trees and tree protectors the order form is now online to pre-order this material. Visit the Lancaster County Conservation District website (www.lancasterconservation.org) to obtain an electronic copy of the order form or new this year you can order online through our Square site (www.lancaster-county-conservation-district.square.site). Deadline to order is March 14th for an April 13th pickup.

Don't forget, Fall is a great time to get out there and plant those native trees and shrubs adjacent to our stream and creeks. This gives the new seedling time to establish its root system prior to winter and protect that streambank for years to come. Get out and plant while the weather is beautiful!!
