The Lancaster Democratic Town Committee will host the 2026 caucus at the Nathaniel T. Dexter Meeting Room, Thayer Memorial Library, 717 Main Street, Lancaster, MA, 01523, Saturday, February 28, 2026 — 11:00 AM

All Lancaster registered democrats are eligible to vote and be elected as delegates to attend the 2026 State Convention and do not need to be committee members.

The State Convention will be held at the DCU Center in Worcester on Friday, May 29th and Saturday, May 30th.

Thursday April 3rd the Lancaster Democratic Caucus meeting.
We start gathering at 6:30 and the caucus starts at 7:00pm at the Lancaster Community Center cafe (lower level).
This meeting is open to all registered Democratic voters in town and the meeting is for electing delegates to the State Convention September 13th, 2025, at the MassMutual Center in Springfield. I recommend new committee members think about considering attending the convention as a delegate. If you have any questions post them here.

We start gathering at 6:30 and the caucus starts at 7:00pm at the Lancaster Community Center cafe (lower level).

The DTC is looking for members. Every presidential primary we elect the members of the Democratic Town Committee. We have up to 24 slots available. Please contact Carl Fawcett or leave a message here if you are interested. Your level of participation is up to you. Key activities are caucuses to select those attending the state convention, stand outs and meet and greets for candidates and canvasing.

Lancaster 2022 Democratic Caucus
When: Feb. 17th 6:30 PM
Where: Zoom Meeting.
Registered Democrats in precincts one and two will be holding a caucus to elect three delegates and three alternates to the Massachusetts Democratic Convention, being held on June 3rd and 4th at the DCU Center in Worcester. The Caucus will be held on Feb 17th on “Zoom” which can be attended over the phone or on-line. Sign in will begin at 6:30 pm with nominations and voting beginning at 7:00.
The caucus is open to all registered Democrats in Lancaster and registered Democrat may be elected to attend the convention as a delegate. This is a great opportunity to get involved with politics in your community and meet fellow democrats. Delegates will be divided equally between men and women, and all ballots will be written and secret. Details on the rules can be found at www.massdems.org.

Here is a chance to meet candidates for governor.

On Nov. 8, we will be electing a new Massachusetts governor! The primary is Sept. 20.

Here is your chance to get to know the candidates: On Feb. 5, MA Gubernatorial Candidates Danielle Allen and Sonia Chang-Diaz will be available to answer your questions and share their visions for the Commonwealth.

Our in-person registration for this event is full, but you may get on the waiting list, and there are several ways to watch remotely. We also strongly encourage you to submit questions for the candidates to answer at the event.
