The Library System of Lancaster County (LSLC) uses social media platforms to share updates and information regarding the library services provided across Lancaster County, PA. Please note that as a support organization for local libraries, LSLC does not speak for or fully represent individual library locations and organizations. We encourage participation in our social medi
a platforms and respect differences in opinion. LSLC is not responsible for the content posted by others on its social media platforms. Posts by users do not indicate LSLC endorsement of the ideas, issues, or opinions expressed. However, LSLC reserves the right to hide or remove any content that is deemed to be inappropriate in nature. That includes posts or comments that contain:
- Obscene content or hate speech
- Private or personal information, including phone numbers and addresses (or requests for personal information)
- Threatening or harassing language, and/or anything that affects the safety and security of LSLC, its property, patrons, or staff
- Potentially libelous statements
- Material that is plagiarized or infringes on copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
- Solicitations of funds
The LSLC also reserves the right to block users who violate these guidelines. Users should keep in mind that comments and posts on our content may be read by anyone once posted, regardless of one’s friends, followers, or subscribers list. APPEAL PROCESS
Social media users who have had their content deleted may submit a formal request to have the decision reviewed. To do this, the users must submit a message with an explanation as to why their content does not violate the social media guidelines. These messages can be submitted directly to the social media page or through mail to:
