South Central PA DSA—Statement regarding call for racist lynch mob in York, PA.
What happened? Recently radical exclusionists saw fit to post on our city streets, posters calling for mob justice against our fellow residents. Groups pushing hate and fear should not feel comfortable defacing our beautiful city with their vile rhetoric in the big year of 2026, no less. These outsiders want us to feel isolated. These supposed “Nationalists” stand against democracy and want to destroy our community by tearing us apart after a long stretch of togetherness.
What can I do? Join your fellow neighbors in solidarity and fill the ranks of your local DSA! Together, we can make it clear that when somebody tries to bring fear into this city, when somebody tries to turn neighbor against neighbor, we don’t answer with hate we answer with organization. We answer with solidarity. We answer with the power of a united community.
Why join the DSA? Your DSA chapter stands with every single worker in this city. Black, white, brown, rural, urban, doesn’t matter, every. single. one. We stand against intimidation, against vigilantism, against anybody who thinks they can bully us into a corner with their weak threats.
**We** don’t build mobs.
**We** build movements.
**We** don’t tear down communities.
**We** defend them.
So join us and our allies. Learn the skills to protect yourself and your neighborhood. Learn to organize your block, your workplace, your community. Learn to stand shoulder to shoulder with one another, because when we stand together, we’re stronger than anything used to divide us.
They want us divided so they can conquer us.
Don’t let that happen.
