CV's Distinguished Alumni program recognizes CV alumni who have excelled in their professions and are outstanding role models for current students. Distinguished Alumni are chosen by a committee of administrators, teachers, CVEF representatives and alumni.

You can nominate someone you deem worthy of this honor by visiting the link below. While you can nominate at any point throughout the year, the Committee meets in the fall, so if you've been thinking of nominating a CV alum, now is the time!

❤️📚 We join countless others in mourning the loss of Dolly Parton—a remarkable artist, philanthropist, and champion of children.

Dolly’s legacy holds a special place here in our CV community. Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library - funded by a grant from Conestoga Valley Education Foundation - our district helps bring FREE books to young children in our community, nurturing a love of reading and learning from the very beginning. This program helps allow us to continue providing resources for children of ALL ages in our community, even before they step foot in our school buildings.

Thank you, Dolly, for putting books in children’s hands and fostering a love of reading and education! ❤️📚

An adorably cute example of (very effective!) persuasive writing!

At the end of last school year, Fritz students campaigned to have Facility Dog in Training, Amelia, return to their building this year.

And look who's back! 🦮

Amelia is a UDS service dog in training (SDIT) and will be with her handler, Fritz teacher Mrs. Meyer, until February. At that time she will return to UDS for the remainder of her training (six months) and they will determine if she will be a service dog or facility dog.

We are so glad to see her back and kudos to our Fritz students who lobbied our Cabinet members to have her return for at least part of this school year!

⚾ THIS Sunday, Aug. 23! School Spirit Day at the Lancaster Stormers is back!

🗓️ CV's School Spirit Day will be held Sunday, Aug. 23. Join us at the ballpark as we celebrate CV! Wear your red and blue, show your Buckskin pride, and enjoy a fun day of baseball with friends and family. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. and first pitch is at 1:30 p.m.

Students and staff receive free tickets and paid tickets are available for friends and family.

All athletic teams are accounted for, safe, and sheltered in place until the severe warning weather expired at 5:15 this evening. We advised all students driving home to exercise extreme caution due to the potential for flooding on roadways and other potential hazards.
