🚒 Important Reminder 🚒

W**d eating around your fire hydrant is crucial for your safety and ours!

Here's why:

- Clear access to the hydrant allows us to quickly connect our hoses in case of an emergency, saving time.
- Overgrown vegetation can hide the hydrant, making it difficult to locate, and delaying our response.
- W**d eating around the hydrant also helps prevent damage to the hydrant and our equipment.

Take a few minutes to trim around your fire hydrant and help us serve our community!🌱

🚩 RED FLAG FIRE ALERT 🚩

The South Carolina Forestry Commission has issued a statewide Red Flag Fire Alert, effective Wednesday, April 8th at 6AM due to dangerous fire conditions.

Dry weather, low humidity, and increasing winds are creating a high risk for wildfires that can spread quickly and become difficult to control.

🔥 We strongly urge the public to:
• Avoid all outdoor burning
• Properly dispose of ci******es
• Do not park vehicles on dry grass
• Secure trailer chains to prevent sparks
• Use extreme caution with any open flames or equipment

While this alert does not completely ban burning, conditions are extremely unfavorable and fires can get out of control fast.

🚒 Our crews are prepared, but we need your help to keep our community safe.

Stay safe and help us prevent wildfires
