Some of our AVID Site Team is spending time learning, collaborating, and bringing back innovative strategies that will help us continue to increase opportunities and achievement for every Bruin. This work is about more than professional development. It’s about creating systems, strengthening instruction, and ensuring all students are prepared for college, career, and life success.

Interested in turning your braiding skills into a certified credential? Lancaster HIgh School is offering a Braiding Certification Program for students ages 16 and older.

To move forward with offering this program, we need interested students to complete an application. If you've been considering it, now is the time!

Are you planning to play sports at the next level? Join us for an NCAA Clearinghouse Educational Session to learn more about GPA requirements, core course requirements, SAT/ACT scores, eligibility requirements, and more.

📍 Location: LHS Auditorium
⏰ Time: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM

This is an important opportunity for student-athletes and families to understand what it takes to be eligible for college athletics.

Athletes and parents with any aspirations of playing sports in college are encouraged to attend, regardless of grade level.

Interested in earning your South Carolina Braiding Certification this summer?

Applications are available NOW at the Lancaster High School Main Office 7:30-4! Don't miss this opportunity to gain a valuable skill, earn your certification, and invest in your future.

✅ Must be a current LHS student
✅ Must be at least 16 years old
✅ Certification Course Dates: July 14 & 15
✅ Certification received the same day upon successful completion of requirements

Lancaster High School is offering students the opportunity to earn their South Carolina Braiding Certification
THIS SUMMER!

If you are at least 16 years old and a current LHS student, you can complete the required health and sanitation course, take the SC safety exam, and receive your certification the SAME DAY!

📅 July 14th & 15th ONLY
💵 Registration Fee: $25
📍 Applications available at the LHS Front Desk- You must submit the application prior to attending the class. Applications are available at LHS front desk
