We're devastated to hear that an officer in our Commonwealth lost their life last week. Our hearts go out to Officer Yeager, her family and the entire Central Berks Regional Police Department.

Our hearts are heavy with the news of an officer killed in the line of duty. Officer Kristen Yeager’s watch was ended while responding to a call for service Friday evening.

Please join me in praying for her family and friends and the Central Berks Regional Police Department as they mourn the loss of their wife, mother, colleague and friend.

Each and every day law enforcement put their lives on the line to protect our communities never knowing what that shift may bring their way. This tragedy reminds us that there is no routine day for them which makes their service even more remarkable and worthy of our support.
