Recently, the Springfield MA Police Department discovered a shotgun concealed in the hood of a motor vehicle.

The gun was rigged to fire from a switch located within the passenger area of the car.

Officers should be aware of this method of firearm concealment.

This is Chief Doug Schroeder, Chief of Police of the Hesston (KS) Police Department. He ran into a lawnmower manufacturing plant during an active shooter while everyone else ran away. The gunman had wounded more than a dozen people and killed three. While the shooter hunted more than a hundred employees that remained inside the plant, Chief Schroeder confronted him, engaged him with gunfire, and arranged for the gunman to meet his maker sooner than the gunman hoped.

The public can play semantics all they want about how they want a "guardian" police force, but the fact remains that sometimes you need a warrior to do warrior s**t. Well done, Chief. I'd work for you any day.
