We're currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team, and we're accepting applications from both certified and non-certified personnel during this hiring round.

Eligible candidates must be U.S. citizens, at least 21 years of age, hold a High School Diploma or GED, and meet the department's requirements for employment. Non-certified applicants are encouraged to apply and will be considered during this round.

UPDATE: THE DOG HAS BEEN CAPTURED AND TRANSPORTED TO THE SPCA

Are you missing me? 🐶🐶

This handsome fella has been running around in the 100 block of Linger Street and onto the golf course. He is believed to be a male, but he is very skittish and will not allow anyone to get close. At this time, we do not have him contained as he is a professional at evading police capture.

If this dog belongs to you, or you know who he belongs to, please call us at 717-299-5231.

The vehicle is being sought in connection with an investigation into multiple criminal mischief incidents that occurred in the Colonial Manor Development on August 29 and August 30, 2026.

The vehicle appears to be an older-model Chevrolet Silverado crew cab pickup truck with black wheels/rims.

Anyone who recognizes this vehicle or has information regarding its owner or operator is asked to contact the Manor Township Police Department at 717-664-1180.
