Thank you all for your messages sending congratulations on the election and expressing concern for Danielle. I have received over 50 messages since Tuesday evening and haven't had a chance to respond until now.
We had loads of help from a lot of good people in the election, for which I am very grateful. I will work hard to be worthy of the trust placed in me.
At about 2 a.m. on election day, Danielle woke up with severe abdominal pain. I took her to Rappahannock General Hospital, where they checked her out and gave her some meds for the pain. Yesterday Danielle and I went to see her doctor in Richmond. Danielle has a large cyst causing the pain. The cyst is benign, and we are scheduling a simple procedure in the next two weeks to remove it to relieve the pain. We appreciate all the well wishes.
This morning I drove around the County to pick up signs, but only found a handful. Thank you to everyone who has picked up signs. If you see any that are left out, please let me know. Also, if you have picked up any signs, send me a message so that I can make arrangements to get them from you.
I am taking Danielle and the kids away for a couple of days to decompress. They have worked hard to help in the election, and I am so blessed to have their love and support.
We are very excited about the future, and I am looking forward to working with the Deputies, Troopers, Town and Marine Police, Game Wardens, ABC Agents, and others to make our County the safest in Virginia.
Love from our family to you and yours.
Tony
