One last post, before we part for the weekend...

I had the pleasure of meeting up with Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains, Troop 64636 again last week, to receive a donation of girl scout cookies for the CAC, associated with their recent cookie sales.

I am consistently impressed by these 4 young women, and was absolutely astounded to hear that the sold 4000 BOXES of cookies this year! 4000, between just 4 ladies?!?! 🤯 I need to get them on a fundraising committee right away! ⏰

I am so grateful that they continue to stay engaged with the CAC, and support our work with children and families, however they can (they have also shown up to events to provide volunteer support). 💚

I'm honored to know such incredible young women, with amazing hearts for service, and to have the privilege to watch them grow and soar! 🕊️

This month has been incredibly busy, as generally is. It has been a month filled with growth, hope and gratitude. 🫶

From opportunities for professional development, to celebrating the accomplishments of the NH state CAC network and within our county and on our Coos CAC team, to feeling the immense support of our community through participation in our annual CAC pizza fundraiser and through unexpected, and greatly appreciated, in-kind and financial gifts. 🍀

We are truly humbled by the support of Coos county citizens and business owners, and by the team members that we have the privilege to stand shoulder to shoulder with, as we all join efforts to create a safer community, where our youngest citizens can thrive! 💙

💙Today is wear blue day, in recognition of child abuse prevention and awareness month. 💙

Our entire team "wears" blue every day, literally and metaphorically, as we partner together in our shared goal of making our community safer for Coos county children, and that begins with awareness and prevention. 💗

Granite State Children's Alliance's Hands of Hope event was Friday, April 3rd, during which every CAC in NH, has the opportunity to recognize standout members of our investigative team.

💚 We had the privilege of honoring Detective Trooper Jeremy Brann, of the New Hampshire State Police! 🤎

As a dedicated member of our multidisciplinary team, Jeremy consistently demonstrates excellence in child protection work. His investigations are thorough and thoughtful, but what truly sets him apart is his compassion for the children and families we serve. He approaches every case with professionalism, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to doing what is right.

Jeremy’s collaborative spirit and steady presence make him an invaluable partner to everyone on the team. He leads by example, earning the trust and respect of colleagues across disciplines.

We are deeply grateful for his service and proud to recognize him as our 2025 Everyday Hero! 💙

At the Child Advocacy Center of Coös County, we see every day how important it is for children to feel safe, believed, and supported.

Prevention doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens when communities come together, look out for one another, and take action.

We all have a role to play. 💙

Prevention starts with all of us. It’s in the conversations we have, the environments we create, and the actions we take to ensure every child feels safe, seen, and heard.

🚓🍕 It’s time for our Annual Pizza Fundraiser! 🍕🚓

We’re teaming up with our amazing local law enforcement partners to deliver pizzas to area businesses, from some of your favorite restaurants in town - bringing lunch and a little extra community connection right to your door.

Each pizza purchased helps support the Child Advocacy Center of Coos County, and every tip collected goes directly toward helping children and families in our community heal and thrive.

We’re Hiring!

The Child Advocacy Center of Coos County is seeking a Forensic Interviewer / MDT Coordinator to join our team.

This position plays a critical role in providing a safe, structured, victim-centered environment where children can share their experiences and begin the path toward healing and justice.

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Trauma-informed
• Compassionate and professional
• Skilled in communication and collaboration
• Committed to supporting children and families

Experience in human services, social work, and/or victim advocacy is preferred.
