On May 28th, we proudly unveiled a mural honoring Iris MacRae at the Iris MacRae Art Garden in Southeast Lancaster. A trailblazer in Lancaster, Iris MacRae was the first Latina educator in the district, a champion for bilingual education, and played an important role in SACA’s beginnings.

The garden features native Iris plants in her honor along with a historical marker celebrating her lasting impact on education and community empowerment.

Join us for an important community conversation on brain health and Alzheimer’s awareness. 💜

Be part of the first in-person screening of “Memories of My Grandfather” telenovela and the “Love Your Brain” panel discussion as we bring families, caregivers, and community leaders together to raise awareness, share resources, and encourage open conversations about memory loss and dementia in the Hispanic community.
