Our hearts are with our friends and neighbors in Stanford as their Mayor and our friend Dalton Millers has gone to his eternal home 🙏🏼

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Stanford Mayor Dalton Miller’s passing.

Mayor Miller leaves behind a legacy that reaches far beyond any title he held. He loved his family deeply, served his community faithfully and touched the lives of so many people along the way.

Those who knew him knew his strength, his kindness and the faith that guided him through every season of life. His impact on our community will not be forgotten.

We ask everyone to keep his family, friends and all who loved him in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Lancaster Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual of interest who was caught on video in peoples cars in the Maplewood area last night between midnight and 2am. Any footage of someone matching the below description around this time would be helpful. It appears to be a male approximately 5’8” and around 150-160lbs

Congratulations to Dr Grasham, our community’s new superintendent of schools!

Garrard County Schools is proud to announce Dr. Kalem Grasham as the next Superintendent.

Dr. Grasham currently serves as Director of Federal Programs and brings a strong record of instructional leadership and district support into his new role. He will continue the district’s focus on student success, strong communication, and high-quality instruction across all schools.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Kevin Stull for his leadership and lasting impact on Garrard County Schools.

With heavy hearts, we share that Mr. Ernest “Bud” Flynn has been located and is unfortunately deceased.

The Garrard County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with Kentucky State Police, is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident. At this time, no foul play is suspected.

We ask that you please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time

We’re still out here actively searching the area and following up on every lead that comes in. Troopers, Garrard County Sheriff's Office, Garrard County Emergency Management -EMA and other partner agencies are working hard in these conditions doing everything we can to find Mr. Flynn and get him home safely.

Ernest “Bud” Flynn, 83-year-old male, was last seen around 4:00 PM at 25 Kelley Ridge Road operating an orange Kubota tractor hauling hay. He was wearing a grey button-up shirt and jeans.
