Protective Hose Company

Protective Hose Company We are the Protective Hose Company of the Lancaster Fire Department. We are 100% volunteer, providing emergency services to the Village of Lancaster.

Since 1896 we have provided emergency services to the residents of the Village of Lancaster and the surrounding communities. We hold many different events throughout the year to help the company for our yearly operations and to aid in the retention and recruitment of new members. If you are interested in joining, please feel free to contact us on this page! Membership has several different benefit

s including a pension program, free training, different social events, networking and for our new recruits, a scholarship program.

We are very excited to announce an event we have been putting together. The 2022 Erie County Firefighters Seminar Series. Every Wednesday starting January 26th until March 16th in the Auditorium @ the Fire Academy, we will be hosting a different firefighting topic with one or more of our County Instructors. Each night will start @ 18:30. Sign up at Erie.gov/fire using the standard Student Training Application.
