Our Community in Action Day was a huge success, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible volunteers, businesses, and community partners who showed up to serve.

A special thank you to Antonio and the team at Precision Restoration for tackling the kitchen beam and door project, helping make meaningful improvements to our facility.

Thank you to AV Dumpsters LLC for hauling away large renovation debris and helping us clear out items that had accumulated over time.

A huge thank you to Starbucks and Manager Deshone Marshall for generously donating iced coffee and iced tea to keep our volunteers refreshed throughout the day. 🤍

And thank you to Victor Mendes General Contractor, General Contractor, for sharing his expertise and helping move important projects forward.

✨ Everyone is welcome! No experience is necessary. Families, students, community groups, businesses, and individuals are all encouraged to participate.

If so, would you be open to donating some of your time and talents to help us take care of a few projects around the Resource Center? ❤️

Join us this Saturday, June 13th, from 8 AM–1 PM for a day of cleaning, patchwork, repairs, and transformation around the property. We are looking for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced professionals! 🙌

Please bring your own gloves, tools, masks, etc., to help the day run smoothly. 🧤🔧

Through their hard work and leadership, they built the framing and siding for our food warehouse barn, helping create a more secure space for the resources our community depends on every day. This project will have a lasting impact on our mission and the families we serve.
