Last night I heard the terrible news that Marilla Supervisor Skip Gingerich passed away. Skip was a tireless fighter for Marilla. There was no subject or issue he wouldn’t take on if he thought it was good for Marilla. He loved his community and the people he served, and it showed. No matter the problem, if Skip believed he could help one of his residents, he was involved and that meant so were many others. My wife and I are sad to learn of this loss and our prayers are with the Gingerich Family and the Marilla community this morning. Rest in peace, Skip

Happy Birthday wishes going out to our great Republican Chairman Gregory Sojka.
As chairman of Lancaster Republicans Greg has compiled a list of accomplishments too numerous to mention in this space. Suffice it to say he has built an organization that is the envy of political committees in Lancaster and beyond. Please join us in wishing him well on this special day and continued success for the future.

We had many guest speakers and spoke about Flock Cameras, Term Limits, and some ideas on how the Town will have to deal with many costs Governor Hochul has placed on Villages/Towns. Legislator Todaro spoke on the old County Home sale to get it back on the tax rolls, the 6% added tax at the new stadium, and the much needed new jail facility that is not being spoken about. Depew Mayor Peterson shared several of the ideas he put in place to help the Village of Depew.
Councilwoman Melissa Studley was in the house and spoke on term limits meetings and debate.
A special thank you to the group Braver Angels for explaining what they are about and debates they have scheduled. Braver Angels has another debate coming up on September 15 on Flock Cameras. Councilman Tom Anticola will be speaking at that debate.
More signs are available leave us a message if you want any.
Thank you to all who attended this meeting.
