🌙🚲 THE ANNUAL MOONLIGHT RIDE IS BACK! 🚲🌙

Join us Friday, October 23 for a beautiful evening ride along the Manor Township portion of the Enola Low Grade Rail Trail!

📍 Manor Township Rail Trail
2459 River Road, Washington Boro, PA

Following brief remarks, the ride will begin at 6:30 p.m., and the trail will remain open until 9:00 p.m.

✨ What to know:
🚲 This is a family-friendly event
🌙 Ride at your own pace
💡 Lights are required
🕖 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Come enjoy a moonlight bike ride, take in the beautiful scenery, and light up the trail with us! Bring your bike, your lights, and the whole family for a fun Friday night on the trail.

🚌 School Has Been in for a Week — Let’s Keep Safety Top of Mind!

It’s hard to believe Penn Manor schools have already been back in session for a week! 🎒📚

Now that everyone is settling back into their morning routines, we want to share a quick reminder for drivers:

⏰ Give yourself enough time in the morning. If school traffic, buses, and extra vehicles are part of your commute, consider leaving a few minutes earlier.

🟡 See flashing amber lights? Slow down and be prepared to stop.

🔴 See flashing red lights with the stop arm activated? You **MUST STOP** at least 10 feet away from the school bus.

🛑 **Stay stopped** until the red lights stop flashing, the stop arm is withdrawn, and all children have reached a place of safety.

🚸 **Stay alert for children** walking, biking, crossing streets, and getting on and off buses.

A few extra minutes in your morning routine is a small price to pay for helping make sure our kids get to school and back home safely.

Slow down. Stay alert. Look out for our kids. ❤️

🌾 Manor Township is Celebrating Farmland Preservation in Lancaster County! 🌾

We’re proud to recognize Brian Eshbach and his 50-acre farm located at 2966 Safe Harbor Rd., as this year’s Farmland Preservation recipient!

For the third year in a row, Manor Township Farmland Preservation Association has helped raise funds to preserve a Manor Township farm through the generosity of sponsors and the Turkey Hill Country Classic.

The annual Turkey Hill Country Classic raises funds for those whose mission is to preserve and steward the beautiful, productive farmland that reflects our heritage, supports our economy, nurtures our health, and enhances our quality of life.

That’s more than land; it’s our history, our agriculture, our community, and our future. 💚🌱

Thank you to the generous sponsors, participants, farmers, and everyone who continues to make farmland preservation possible!

Together, we can keep Manor Township preserved and keep our farmland here for generations to come.

Penn Manor students are heading back to school, which means more school buses, more kids walking and biking, and more activity on our roads.
