Both Homestead Village and Powerback Rehab, our rehabilitation services provider, are celebrating 40th anniversaries this year! Today we celebrated with the “40 and Fit” challenge event for residents which featured fun exercise challenges, healthy snacks, giveaways, and even a “mocktail” bar!

This Month in HV History - August 1993: Homestead Village broke ground for their newest neighborhood, Villa Court! The 44 Villa Homes are still very popular due to their thoughtfully designed floor plan styles, proximity to the Village Center building and amenities, as well as beautiful surroundings.

Yesterday we were honored to host the 104th Brubaker Descendants family reunion here at Homestead Village! Our location is special to the family because Homestead Village is built on what was previously part of their family farm. The annual reunions are a highly organized event with presentations on family history, genealogy, artifacts, and more. This year’s event was even featured in LNP news and included historic family photos.

Our residents recently enjoyed an excursion to Pittsburgh! Highlights of the trip included The Heinz Chapel, Cathedral of Learning, Lamont Restaurant, Duquesne Incline, and the Three Rivers Art Festival.
