As we look forward to our 40th Anniversary 'Ruby Reflections' Gala - scheduled for Friday, October 9th at Foundry48 in Lititz - it's fun to look back and remember the galas we've enjoyed over the years! Thanks to all the team members, volunteers, guests, and sponsors who made these events possible. Events like the galas and golf tournaments benefit our endowment fund for charitable care.

On This Date in Homestead History: May 31, 2013, Homestead Village purchased the former Parish Resource Center (PRC) and developed the space as a multi-purpose center for campus programming and office space. The name was changed in 2016 to The Bachman Center after a generous donation from resident Mary Ellen Bachman. Learn more about the history of this venue in our blog!

The THRIVE Team at Homestead Village organized a wonderful 1986-Themed Mixer as part of our 40th anniversary festivities! It was a fun and uplifting time to listen to great music, dance, learn about Homestead trivia, enjoy refreshments, and celebrate our community !

Thank you to our friends at Homestead Village Enhanced Senior Living for once again making Mother’s Day a little more special for our kiddos!

Their volunteers collected donated jewelry and transformed our lobby into a pop-up shop that’s open all week long. They’re there each day helping kids pick out something special for their mom or a special person in their life, all at no cost.

It’s a simple idea, but it means a lot. We’re so grateful for the time, care, and heart they bring to this tradition every year!

Today our THRIVE team hosted a Health & Wellness expo to help educate guests about services and groups that can assist them both on and off our campus! With giveaways and event sign-ups, delicious refreshments, and engaging conversations. It was an excellent morning here at Homestead Village!

Congratulations to our “Homestead Naturally” committee on a lovely Earth Day program! It was so interesting to learn about the variety of trees here on our campus as well as in Lancaster County! Other highlights of the event included a nature book exchange, walking tour, plant giveaway, trivia, and refreshments!
