Last week, the Lancaster City Housing Authority was thrilled to welcome Jaime Arroyo for Lancaster City to our agency. Mayor Arroyo toured recent improvements at two of our housing communities, and saw first-hand our ongoing work to maintain and preserve affordable housing across Lancaster City. Thank you to the City of Lancaster, PA for your ongoing support and commitment to affordable housing for our residents. 🏘️

Lancaster City Housing Authority is proud to provide housing and support to nearly 3,000 City residents within our four housing communities and through our administration of 1,000+ housing choice vouchers throughout Lancaster City.

Lancaster City Housing Authority is grateful to the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) for its continued investment in affordable housing across the Commonwealth.

LCHA is proud to be a recipient of $75,000 in PHARE funding, which will support interior improvements to the common areas within one of our public housing communities. Funding like this allows us to continue enhancing our public housing — and in turn, improving the quality of life for the residents who call them home.

We are thankful for partners like PHFA who help make this work possible.

Affordable housing developments, assistance programs and homeless shelters in Lancaster County will receive a combined $2 million in grants funded by Marcellus shale drilling impact fees and real estate transfer
