Due to long needed renovations, the Tax Collector’s Office at the West Pasco Government Center in New Port Richey is experiencing a temporary reduction in available services. Many services will be available in an office adjacent to the existing tax collector’s office (please follow the signs). The exact date of the return to full service is yet unknown, but some point in July is anticipated.

The services impacted are as follows:

Our office will NOT be able to provide any driver license services (which includes any driver testing and Hazmat services – Hazardous Materials). Customers needing driver license services may visit our Gulf Harbors Office (4720 U.S. Highway 19, New Port Richey 34652). Customers needing Hazmat services may visit our Dade City Office (14236 – 6th Street, Room 100, Dade City 33523).
The New Port Richey Office will be able to provide ALL title and registration processing (including fast titles), birth certificate issuance, hunting & fishing, and property tax payments.

Pasco Animal Services Offers Free Pet Vaccines and Microchips

Bring up to 3 pets to FREE clinics throughout the summer ~~

PASCO COUNTY, FL ---- It’s your pet’s best shot for a healthy life! Join Pasco County Animal Services (PCAS) for our community vaccine and microchip clinics. Owned dogs and cats are welcome on a first‑come, first‑served basis, with a limit of 100 pets.

“Our goal is simple: healthy pets, supported families and a safer community,” said PCAS Director Gary Herrero. “By removing financial barriers and bringing services directly into neighborhoods, we’re making preventive care accessible to everyone.”

WHAT: Vaccine & Microchip Clinics

WHEN: June 9 | Robert J. Stricklan Memorial Park | 6345 Clark Street, Hudson

July 14 | Anclote Gulf Park | 2305 Baillies Bluff Road, Holiday

August 4 | Elsie Logan Memorial Park | 15830 Greenglen Lane, Shady Hills

Vaccines are the best way to protect pets from highly contagious and potentially deadly—but completely preventable—viruses. Core vaccines guard against rabies, distemper, parvovirus, adenovirus and other illnesses common in Florida.

Microchipping is one of the easiest and most reliable ways to reunite with your lost pet. A microchip provides permanent, scannable proof of ownership, helping pets get home faster and giving you clear legal protection.

Tax Collector Mike Fasano’s Offices Will Feature “Hope Services” as the Charitable Giving Organization for the Month of June

Tax Collector Mike Fasano’s five offices will feature Hope Services as the charitable organization for the month of June 2026. Hope Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people with a variety of disabilities, be they physical, developmental, age-related or on the autism spectrum, become independent through workforce training. Hope Services also works with individuals to utilize adaptive technology, if needed, for both at-home and on-the-job independence.

“This month we are seeking donations for the non-profit Hope Services,” remarks Tax Collector Mike Fasano. “This organization’s slogan is “Hope Gets Jobs.” Hope Services was founded to help individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, as well as survivors of human trafficking, gain hands-on vocational training so they can perform skills that will allow them to enter or re-enter the job market. Hope Services also helps locate jobs for the people they train.”
