First Stop Help Center The FSHC provides information and support that allows all people to maintain dignity and respect, and long-term personal and financial sustainability.

The First Stop Help Center serves as a compassionate resource to empower Lander residents experiencing emergency needs to attain or sustain financial self-sufficiency. The FSHC is dedicated to empowering people in Fremont County seeking resource assistance with the knowledge, skills and guidance they require to access and utilize needed services in the community.

Join Wyoming Hunger Initiative at the Double A for the launch of the 2026 campaign in partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Wyoming and Wyoming Athletics on January 20th! Tip off is at 6:30pm but be sure and stop in the lobby to purchase a heart for just $5 with all proceeds going to anti-hunger organizations in Wyoming. All hearts will be hung in the Wyoming State Capitol during the legislative session.

If you are applying for help with natural gas, propane, or electricity, we are now processing applications for Energy Share of Wyoming for Wyoming Residents. Go to the website linked below to print out the brochure, which includes the application, and bring it to us in person with the required documents. It is not possible to apply online for Energy Share.
