“Fall Fest” October 24th, 3pm

Join the Riverton Museum for our annual Fall Fest! Stop by the museum anytime between 3pm-8pm. There will be fun games, activities, and snacks. Vote on your favorite pumpkin carved by local organizations and businesses.
We encourage you to come in your Halloween costume! Tickets will be available at the door for a nominal fee.

“Fremont Haunts” October 21st, 6pm

The Riverton Museum is hosting Alma Law for this Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speaker Series on October 21st from 6-7pm. Join the Riverton Museum for our annual Fremont Haunts speaker series event! Alma Law is a local educator and collector of ghost stories who will be presenting on his spooky stories and urban legends from the Fremont County area! Visit the Riverton Museum to learn some scary local stories before Halloween!

Riverton Museum Unveils “Mysteries from the Museum” Exhibit at Riverton Branch Library

The Riverton Museum invites the public to put on their detective hats and explore the curious, unusual, and sometimes puzzling objects of the past in its newest exhibit, Mysteries from the Museum, now on display at the Riverton Branch Library.

Every museum collection holds its share of mysteries. Some objects are immediately recognizable, while others leave us scratching our heads and wondering, “What in the world was that used for?”

Mysteries from the Museum highlights a selection of intriguing artifacts from the Riverton Museum's collection, challenging visitors to examine each object, consider the clues, and guess its original purpose before discovering the answer.

Mysteries from the Museum is currently on display at the Riverton Branch Library and can be viewed during regular library hours.

“Halloween Night at the Museum” Oct 16 & 17th, 6-9PM
Visit the Pioneer Museum in Lander for this Children's Exploration Series program for 2 nights of fun on October 16th and 17th from 6-9pm.

Get ready for a spooky time at the Pioneer Museum! We are back with our family friendly Halloween event. Enjoy the maze, try one of our activities, and of course get some treats!

“Polished Corners of the Temple Wall with Lea Cavalli Schoenewald” October 7th 6pm

The Riverton Museum is hosting Lea Cavalli Schoenewald for this Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speaker Series on October 7th from 6-7pm. Schoenewald is a retired teacher who published "Polished Corners of the Temple Wall," a book on Ivinson Hall which was a boarding school for girls in Laramie from 1921-1957. Come hear stories about what it was like to attend the school and the history of its establishment.
