It's time to shine light on negotiations between public sector unions and government entities. Members of a collective bargaining unit, taxpayers, and students have a right to know.

"Here's an idea. How about making the negotiations public, exposing them to the "sunshine" as it were? Perhaps then the two sides will feel compelled to act. After all, these are public universities.

The focus of these negotiations must remain on the students. They are the ones paying the tuition and trying to plan for their futures.
